Both the RAV4 and the Cherokee interiors are equipped with seating for five passengers. The Cherokee’s front-row passengers get 39.4 inches of headroom, while the front row of the RAV4 comes with 37.7 inches of headroom.

The biggest difference in space is for the second-row passengers. The Cherokee includes 40.3 inches of rear legroom while the RAV4’s rear-seat passengers get 37.8 inches of legroom.
